Corinne Marguerat is a Swiss artist, born in 1972. Ever since childhood, she dreams, creates, draws and paints. At the beginning of the 1990s she took a few lessons and courses to discover, learn about and explore art. Very quickly, she became interested in the subject of the woman, and of what she represents in society, in the family and in the world. In the late 1990s and early 2000s she exhibited her work and took part in competitions but without really finding her way. For ten years therefore, she decided to explore different paths to find herself.

It was only natural for her to return to painting, as it is at the heart of who she is. The theme of the woman also returned. In her paintings, which are mainly nudes and portraits of real or imaginary women, she expresses sensations, feelings and flaws.

In 2018, she decided to look into the depths of women’s eyes in order to catch a glimpse of the spark that makes them feel alive. This was the beginning of her collection called Regard sur l’âme (Exploration of the soul).

An eternal optimist, naturally happy and a lover of life she believes that if we agree to see ourselves as we truly are, we can enjoy the lightness of the present moment.
